The Cases of Sheikh Jarrah
On the 15th of February 2021, the Israeli district court rejected the appeal of the four families in Sheikh Jarrah, Skafi, Al Qasim, Al Jaouni, and Al Kurd, 7 households 30 people including 10 children, and approved the eviction order of the Magistrate court and gave the families tell the 2nd of May to evict their homes.
The Israeli District court held a hearing, on February the 9th, 2021. For the appeal against the eviction order of the four families; the hearing was about the appeal against the eviction decision of the magistrate court, which ignored several facts about the land ownership.
The lawyers of the families will submit an appeal to the Israeli high court against the decision of the district court.
