Leaders of Israel’s main international enablers have criticized it. In a widely circulated post NDP leader Jagmeet Singh labelled it “utter madness” and demanded “Canada must stand up to this forcefully“.

With the Israeli Prime Minister responsible for the destruction of the coastal strip next to him, the US President said “I don’t think people should be going back to Gaza.” Trump added that the US will “own it” and have “a long term ownership position”. He suggested the US may send troops.
Trump’s ethnic cleansing plan undermines the ceasefire and could destabilize the region. They violate international law and amount to genocide.
