On November 21 rock legend Roger Waters will be participating in a timely webinar on “Students Over Donor Money: the suppression of Palestine solidarity at McGill University and beyond”
McGill’s administration recently asked the court to ban all demonstrations on campus and forced the student union to suspend the group Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights. In a Canadian Jewish News interview billionaire McGill donor Sylvan Adams details how Zionist donors are pushing the administration for even more repression. In the interview Adams also attacks Waters and describes a bizarre “fantasy” to reunite Pink Floyd to promote Israel, prompting Waters to pen an op-ed rebuttal and letter to the McGill president in support of students opposing genocide.
