The Settler Movement – Powered by Israeli Entities Like the Settlement Division of the World Zionist Organization – Has Since Israel’s Inception Been the Driving Force Behind The Apartheid Policies That Have Led to Israel’s Continued Theft of Palestinian Land and Ethnic Cleansing of the Palestinian People

KEY RECOMMENDATIONS:

• Sanctions on the World Zionist Organization (WZO) and the Jewish National Fund (JNF) in Israel: The WZO’s Settlement Department and the JNF both facilitate illegal land grabs and settler violence under the guise of “development” and support for “at-risk youth”. These entities must face immediate sanctions.
• Cutting Diplomatic Ties: Canada must sever diplomatic ties with high-ranking Israeli officials, including Betzalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir, who are publicly advocating for the annexation of the West Bank and the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
• Expanded Arms Embargo: Canada must enact a comprehensive two-way arms embargo against Israel, as continued arms sales make Canada complicit in war crimes.
