Just Peace Advocates joined Badil’s social media storm calling for the immediate release of Walid Daqqah

Monday 18 September 2023 between 9 and 11 am Palestine time.

It was scheduled to occur just right before the UNHRC agenda item #3 interactive dialogue with the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention which within Walid’s case should be discussed!

Walid, imprisoned since 1986, has endured physical & psychological torture, including solitary confinement & medical neglect. His current dire health condition amplifies concerns regarding his right to life & need for urgent proper medical care. #Free_Walid_Daqqah pic.twitter.com/xEdBckRU3O

Everyone deserves justice & fair trial. Detention based on race, religion, or nationality, is arbitrary & violates Int'l law. Israel's extension of Walid's detention is arbitrary, life threatening & is exacerbated w/ deliberate medical neglect. #Free_Walid_Daqqah
